Hillbrush
Charles Coward, commercial director at Hillbrush, said the company was promoting the world’s first metal detectable brush, which was launched only two months ago. It is made using dual retention system resin technology, which prevents the loss of filaments, and seals the brush so there are no air gaps, making it better from a hygiene point of view, he explained. The company was also displaying a new bucket, which has a registered design. It features a flip lid that is detachable and lip which is designed to allow liquids on the bottom of the bucket to drain away when the bucket is upturned. He said all the material was food grade 1 and the company, which was promoting its British manufacturing credentials, does all its own injection moulding. "Ultimately if we can help them be safer, they come back to us for more products," said Coward.
