Milk and soy protein detection prompts recall
Norway: Vitalkost AS has withdrawn nine products from Saltå Kvarn due to traces of undeclared milk and soy protein.
Saltå Kvarn earlier recalled a product due to milk protein and found traces of milk and soy protein in additional products so decided to extend the recall.
The firm said it had not found milk and soy protein in all items covered in the new recall but took the decision as the product group was packed on the same machine.
Products are Soyamel 275g, Bokhvetemel 500g, Rismel, fullkorn 400g, Rismel, siktet 400g, Quinoamel 300g, Maismel 400g, Bokhveteflak 250g, Hirseflak 250g, Quinoaflak 250g.
