Food Safety Recall round-up 1-15 March 2018
Haji Baba meats subject to recall
Ireland: FSAI said all minced lamb, diced beef, lamb and skinned chicken supplied by Hab Foods trading as Haji Baba in Ballyfermot have been recalled.
A closure order was served on the business by the HSE due to a 'grave and immediate danger' to public health, added the agency.
It also did not have the required approval to operate.
"The unapproved establishment is unsuitable and unhygienic for the purposes of food production. There is a risk of the implicated meats being contaminated with pathogenic bacteria, which could cause illness," said FSAI.
