Listeria in Comté cheese
Canada: Agropur Cooperative is recalling Comté Cheese due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
The product, which was manufactured and packaged in France, has been sold nationally at retail level.
Agropur Import Collection Firm Ripened Comté Cheese 200g all best before dates up to and including 18 FE 09 is affected.
The recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) test results. There have been no reported illnesses.
