Benzo (a) pyrene and PAH in sunflower oil
Croatia: A variety of sunflower oil has been recalled due to increased quantity of benzo (a) pyrene and PAH4.
'Salatoff' 1L with date 14.3.2018, lot number 2017.3.15 and barcode 4030011700121 from Ukraine is affected.
Ukroliya made the product and it was placed onto the Croatian market by Cossack Consulting d.o.o. in Zagreb.
The Croatian Ministry of Agriculture said the product is not safe as it contains polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons at concentrations exceeding the limits set by European Commission Regulation 1881/2006.
