Aflotoxin in sesame seeds
12 January - Sweden: Unhusked sesame seeds have been recalled by Lantmännen Cerealia due to high aflotoxin levels.
However, the firm said the levels are so low that they pose no risk to human health.
Consumers who bought GoGreen Unhusked Sesame 350g with best before dates 23-02-2016 and 20-04-2016 can submit empty packaging to receive compensation.
Sally Gunnarsson, communications at Lantmännen Cerealia, said it apologises for any inconvenience caused or concern for anyone.
She said it makes every effort to supply safe food for consumers and is reviewing procedures further.
