Aflatoxin level in dried figs
Czech Republic: Czech authorities have withdrawn a shipment of dried figs due to high levels of aflatoxins.
Officials detained a consignment of 4,248kg of dried figs originating in Turkey.
Laboratory analysis showed the maximum limit for aflatoxin B1 and aflatoxin levels B1, B2, G1, G2 was exceeded. For aflatoxins B1 it was 15.9; Total 17.7 µg/kg - ppb), according to the RASFF portal.
Affected product had lot L17007 lot number 090048474/2-11-798 imported by Ing. Bohumil KRATOCHVÍL - IBK Trade and produced by Kirlioglu Tarimsal Urunler Gida Ins. San. Tic A.S. in Turkey.
