Salmonella in spice mixtures
Austria: Frutarom Savory Solutions Germany has recalled spice mixtures due to Salmonella.
Affected spice mixtures were sold from 7.8.2017 nationwide through wholesale and direct sales.
Salmonella was detected in a single sample of shredded oregano from Turkey. For a list of affected products and batch numbers go here.
Other countries concerned are Albania, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and UAE, according to the RASFF portal.
