Salmonella in salami from Spain
Denmark: Dansk Supermarked Group has issued a recall of salami due to Salmonella.
Salmonella was found in a sample taken by Fødevarestyrelsen with lot number 1728300158 and date 8-1-2018. Dansk Supermarked Group has withdrawn all batches of Original Fuet.
Product was sold in Føtex and Bilka stores throughout the country and came from Spain.
It is not the first time salami from Spain has been recalled for Salmonella. Danish and Swedish authorities are investigating outbreaks from this pathogen and product combination.
