Lunch meat content prompts recall
Czech Republic: Státní zemědělská a potravinářská inspekce (SZPI) has ordered a product be recalled due to missing proportion of meat.
Legislation states that a can of luncheon meat must contain at least 70% of the meat but lab analysis determined it was only 42.6% of the weight of the product.
Canned Pork Luncheon Meat, Lunch Meat Ma Ling 340g with date 29.10.2017 and batch: LP-5 EJ29-1 made by Shanghai Maling (czech) a.s. is affected.
