Milk powder issue causes number of recalls
New Zealand: A number of products have been recalled due to an issue with milk powder.
YogurtNMore recalled items sold in bags, plastic tubs and bottles depending on the brand and product. They were sold in retail outlets throughout the North Island.
MPI said they were produced using milk powder manufactured as per regulatory requirements but requirements were not met during distribution. FQN has asked the agency for clarification on what this means.
Get Fresh Vege & Spices is recalling its Saads brand Plain Natural Yogurt 450ml with use by dates from 19/1/2017 to 6/2/2017.
Indo Spice World's Shahi brand Smooth & Creamy Yogurt (2L) with use by dates from 19/1/2017 to 6/2/2017 are affected.
Village Style Food's Village Style Food brand 100% NZ Yogurt 660g with use by dates from 19/1/2017 to 6/2/2017 are involved.
Marpen Trade is withdrawing Spring Blue brand Paneer with Chilli, Paneer with Italian Herbs and Natural Paneer 250g with a best before date of 16/7/2017 or before.
