Yeast fermentation in sparkling mango drink
England: A.G. Barr is recalling four batches of its Rubicon Sparkling Mango soft drink because yeast fermentation in some bottles which may cause them to burst.
Presence of yeast has resulted in spoilage of the products, making them unsuitable for human consumption. The firm said if the product is drunk it may be unpleasant in taste or odour but is not harmful to health.
Rubicon Sparkling Mango 2L with best before date end Feb 2017 and batch codes 6149 and 6150 and with best before date end Mar 2017 and batch codes 6176 and 6177 are affected.
