Salmonella in nuts
USA: Snyder’s-Lance is recalling Diamond of California Macadamia Nuts due to possible Salmonella contamination.
The recall is the result of testing by a FDA-contracted laboratory which revealed that a 4oz package of the nuts contained Salmonella.
It covers certain production codes of 4oz Diamond of California Chopped Macadamia Nuts and 2.25oz Diamond of California Macadamia Halves and Pieces.
Products were distributed in retail stores nationwide but no illnesses have been reported.
