Monolith Süd acts on contamination concerns
25 April - Germany: Monolith Süd has recalled some of its cheese preperation product because of contamination concerns.
"Solnyschko" 60% fat i.Tr, 100g has a best before date of 13/10/2014.
It was initally thought the contamination was broken glass but it is now believed to be undissolved salt crystals.
States affected include Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, Saxony and Thuringia. Member States including Malta, Austria, Romania, Czech Repubic and Hungary were affected.
