Salmonella found in garlic powder
19 November - Canada: Loblaw Companies is recalling Suraj brand Garlic Powder due to possible Salmonella contamination.
The 400g garlic powder has a UPC of 0 57197 37238 0 and best before of 2015 AL 22.
It has been sold nationally but there have been no reported illnesses.
The recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) test results and the agency said its investigation may lead to further recalls.
