Arla Foods in Listeria recall
15 November - Germany: Arla Foods has recalled a batch of Castello cheese rings with rum because quality control checks found Listeria monocytogenes.
The 125g packages were prepared in Arla Korsvejen, Denmark and sold through various retailers in Germany. They have a production date of 27/10/13, shelf life expiration date of 5/1/2014 and Health mark of DK M 277 EC.
All other cheese rings from the Castello range are not affected, said Arla. Packages with this date of production and expiry date should be destroyed or returned to the point of sale for an exchange or refund.
