Listeria concerns prompt Gorgonzola recall
5 August - Canada: Certain Ballarini brand Gorgonzola cheese products have been found to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Jan K Overweel are warning the public not to consume the cheese which may have been sold in smaller packages, cut and wrapped by some retailers.
Whole Foods Market, Markham, Ontario, is one retailer withdrawing certain products due to the contamination.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product
