Australian retailer recalls sour cream potentially contaminated with E.coli
4 July – Australian retailer Coles Supermarkets has recalled Coles Lite Sour Cream (300ml) from its stores in West Australia due to E.coli contamination concerns.
“Food contaminated with E.coli may cause illness if consumed. Consumers should not eat this product and should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,” said a recall notice posted on the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) website.
