Campylobacter concern in raw milk
New Zealand: Go Farming is recalling raw (unpasteurised) drinking milk as it may contain Campylobacter.
Go 2 Raw Milk brand Raw (unpasteurised) drinking milk (1L) with batch numbers: 104, 105, 106, 107, 108 and 108b with use by dates 19/3/18 to 28/3/18 inclusive.
It is sold online and collected at the farm or delivered within the Southland and Queenstown regions. There have been no associated reports of illness.
Earlier this month, MPI reminded consumers that raw milk is a high-risk food.
"We have seen a number of recent recalls of raw milk and it’s important that consumers remember and understand that there are risks with drinking raw milk," said Dr Paul Dansted, MPI director animal and animal products.
