Food Safety Recall round-up 23-29 March 2018
Possible Listeria in eclairs
US: Poppies International is recalling eclairs because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Products were made during March 5-9 and have lot number (L1M1018 Best Before 09/09/19).
The recall comes after a result of routine sampling by the firm which revealed finished product ran on the same line that contained the bacteria.
The company did not release any product that tested positive for L. monocytogenes and is recalling all of it that ran on the line during that production week.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
