Listeria potential in cheese
USA: Kuster's Inc is recalling more than 14,000 pounds of cheese after been told by its supplier it could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Products included are sharp white cheddar, mozzarella/muenster/provolone, Monterey Jack, pepper jack, four blend, three blend; pepper jack cubes; and co/jack slices.

Shredded cheese was distributed in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Pennsylvania. It was sold in 5 pound plastic bags under the Kuster's Dairy Foods, Fata's Best and Nor-Tech Dairy labels.
The recall came after the cheese manufacturer confirmed a possible contamination of received product. Kuster's Inc. has ceased production and distribution as the FDA and the company investigate.
