Microbial quality concerns prompts recall
Finland: Leader Foods has withdrawn some products due to a microbial quality deviation during shelf life.
Some mould growth was noticed on some apricot-based bars (some batches only) during shelf life so the bars remain of a good microbial quality for a shorter time than expected.
It applies to Barebar Aprikoosipohjainen Cocoa Banana with Honey 40g best before 30-4-17 or earlier, Barebar Aprikoosipohjainen Juicy Fruit 40g best before 31-3-17 or earlier, Barebar Apricot-based Nutmix 40g best before 30/04/2017 or earlier and Barebar Aprikoosipohjainen Red Berries 40g best before 30-4-17 or earlier.
They have been on sale across the country. The firm said it decided to recall all of the batches back as a precaution.
