Insects in organic wheat flour
September - Denmark: Il Fornaio has withdrawn organic wheat flour as flour beetles and larvae have been found in some of the bags.
Organic wheat flour tipo 00, sold in paper bags of 1000g with lot number: PC15191A002 and EAN Number: 703043440028 and best before date 30-4-2016 were made in Italy.
There is no immediate health risk, but the findings makes the product unfit for human consumption. A distribution list can be found here.
