Food Safety recall round-up 3-9 October
Cheese contaminated with plastic
6 October - New Zealand: Goodman Fielder NZ is initiating a recall of one batch of Chesdale smoked flavour Cheese Slices 250g (12 single slice pack) due to the possible presence of thin clear plastic in the cheese.
The affected product is sold in supermarkets and other retail food outlets throughout New Zealand with no overseas distribution.
Chesdale Smoked Flavour Cheese Slices 250g have a production date of 6/6/14 and best before date of 5/6/15.
There have been no reports of illness and the recall does not affect any other Goodman Fielder products.
