Speights Cider recall over sulphite mislabelling
11 September - New Zealand: Lion are initiating a recall of certain Speight's Cider after discovering that the product contains sulphites which are not declared on the label of each bottle.
Affected product has been sold in 568ml six bottle pack and 568ml single bottles with a Best before date between 9/6/2013 and 16/01/2014.
The cider was sold in supermarkets, licensed premises and other retail outlets throughout New Zealand.
Consumers who are sensitive to sulphites are advised not to consume this product.
