RTE meals recalled over undeclared milk
3 September - USA: GoPicnic Brands is recalling two vegan ready-to-eat meals because the chocolate products in the meals may contain an undeclared milk allergen.
GoPicnic Black Bean Dip & Plantain Chips and Hummus & Crackers, containing Professor Zim Zam’s Extraordinary Sweets Dark Chocolate with Orange and Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt are affected.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the chocolate in the meals.
The ‘best by’ dates associated with the product lot codes range from 9/24/2013 to 5/29/2014.
