Listeria concerns prompt ham recall
18 January - Canada: Overwaitea Food Group is recalling Ripple Creek Farm brand Hickory Smoked Spiral Sliced Ham due to possible Listeria contamination.
The variable sized product has been sold in British Columbia and Alberta, the code is best before 2014 FE 13.
The recall was triggered by one in another country, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products but there have been no reported illnesses so far.
