Food safety operations restructure will boost efficiency - RQA
Headquarters of the RQA, now known as RQA Group, will be in the UK and operations in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific will be managed from the European division.
The group’s activities in the Americas and Japan will continue to be managed by RQA in the US.
RQA Group provides product recall, crisis management, business continuity and food safety consultancy services to sectors including the food, beverage and consumer product market.
“The global nature of the food business means we can benefit from a degree of centralisation to provide a more efficient service to our clients along the entire supply chain,” says new RQA group managing director, Dr Vince Shiers.
“Our philosophy is to provide a consistent offering in different markets, while importantly taking into account local specifics.”
