Auchan is rumoured to be a prospective tenant at a huge 118,000
square-metre mall to be built near Moscow's third transport ring,

Auchan, the French food retailer, has reported sales for 2002 only
marginally affected by exchange rate concerns due mainly to its
growing focus on core eurozone markets.
France's Auchan group has agreed to sell its five Mexican stores
for an undisclosed sum to local market leader CCM. The Mexican firm
could also join Auchan's international buying organisation.
Auchan and its Italian partner, the Agnelli group, have launched a
offer for all the outstanding shares in the La Rinascente group, a
€735m bid which result in the Italian company being delisted.
