GNT double production with new Dutch facilities
The expansion comes as GNT responds to an increasing global demand for natural colour solutions, said the firm - adding that the new facility not only increases capacities for existing products but also for new product lines and future innovations.
“With the new production unit GNT completed the last stage of a five-year plan to overhaul the entire production chain, enabling us to accommodate the growing demand for colouring foods," said Dr Hendrik Hoeck, managing director of GNT Group. "The new production unit stands in line with our long-term business strategy, strengthening our leading market position."
In addition, GNT said the new facility will mean that production time is vastly reduced, while flexibility will be improved.
The firm will also be able to answer the increasing demand to the recently introduced oil dispersible product EXBERRY OD product that is suitable for fat- and oil-based foods, said GNT.
