A five year investment programme for rice derivative producer Remy Industries, part of the Orafti group, has paid off with the company obtaining an 'extended HACCP' certificate from Lloyd's.
The rice starch and rice protein producer has renewed its entire factory in recent years with new buildings, installations and wastewater treatment plants, and a new steam production and maintenance warehouse.
In addition to HACCP, the 'extended HACCP' certification includes a GMP, GMP+ for feed products and most of the procedures of ISO 9002 for Remy Industries.
With a brand new factory and an accredited up-to-date quality system, the company looks forward to elaborate further with its customers and prospects new, high quality products.
