Potential Listeria in pea shoots
Canada: Evergreen Herbs is recalling pea shoots due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Evergreen Herbs Pea Shoots 100g purchased from May 22 to June 7 at retail level in British Columbia are affected.
Golden Pearl Mushrooms also recalled GPM brand Pea Shoots sold in Alberta and British Columbia due to the same issue.
GPM Pea Sweet Pea Shoots 230g, Pea Shoots 100g and 455g with product code 11421 are involved.
Both recalls were triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) test results. There have been no reported illnesses.
