Lactic acid bacteria growth in dressing
Denmark: Orkla Foods Danmark A/S has recalled salad dressing due to growth of lactic acid bacteria.
Bähncke Karry Mango dressing is only sold wholesale.
The 900g product has production dates 2/2/2018, 9/3/2018, 13/4/2018 and 18/5/2018 and best before dates 2/7/2018, 6/8/2018, 10/9/2018 and 15/10/2018. Affected lot numbers are 1227984, 1254919, 1293341 and 1321394.
Lactic acid bacteria do not pose a health risk but make the product unfit to consume due to altered taste and consistency.
