Undeclared peanut in biscuits
Canada: Lotte brand Kancho Choco Biscuit is being recalled as it may contain peanut which is not declared on the label.
The recall was triggered by consumer complaints.
All codes of Kancho Choco Biscuit 168g and 95g where peanut is not declared on the label are affected. Products were distributed at retail level in Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec and possibly nationally.
New Zealand is also affected and authorities said the product, imported from the Republic of Korea, contains other allergens that may not be declared in English: gluten, soy, milk, egg and tree nuts (almond).
