Undeclared wheat and soy in trail mix
Canada: Loblaw Companies is recalling President's Choice Blue Menu Trail Mix because it contains wheat and soy which are not declared on the label.
People with an allergy to wheat and soy or a sensitivity to gluten should not consume the 250g product which has Best Before 2018 JN 14.
It was sold prior to August 25 in Ontario at Fortinos, Loblaws, No Frills, Real Canadian Superstore, Valu-Mart, Independent, Zehrs and affiliated independent stores; in Atlantic at Dominion, Independent, No Frills, and Atlantic Superstore and affiliated independent stores; in Québec at Maxi, Maxi & Cie, Provigo, Axep, Intermarché and Provigo le Marché and in West at Extra Foods, No Frills, Real Canadian Superstore, Wholesale Club, Independent and affiliated independent stores.
The recall was triggered by the company but there have been no reported reactions.
"Customers are advised not to consume the products and to return them to the store, where the customer service desk will provide a full refund. We apologize for any inconvenience this recall may have caused. The safety of our customers is our top priority," said the company.
