Histamine levels in mackerel fillets
Ireland: Aldi Stores and Lidl Ireland are recalling mackerel fillets due to elevated levels of histamine.
Aldi Stores recall covers Skellig Bay Mackerel Fillets 300g with a use by of 30/6/2017. Although the affected batch is past its ‘use by date’, consumers may have it in their freezers. They are advised not to eat it.
Lidl Ireland recalled Inismara Irish Mackerel Fillets 300g with approval number: IE CK 0086 EC. It has a ‘Use by date’: 02/07/2017 and consumers who have the implicated batch frozen at home are advised not to eat it.
