Recall of canned fish
Hong Kong: The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department has warned the public not to consume certain batches of canned fish from Japan as they are suspected to contain 'foreign matters'.
Maruha Nichiro Corporation recalled Maruha Canned Pacific Saury with teriyaki sauce imported by City Super with JAN codes 4901901356141 and 4901901392989 with best before dates December 1, 2016 to May 1, 2018.
The quantity of imported affected batches was 1,980 cans for sale at a supermarket chain and have been sold out.
