German ice cream brand Kissyo! is launching what it claims is the 'first' reduced sugar organic ice cream in the country.
The company said the product will be available in the 'modern classic' flavours, vanilla and chocolate. The vanilla recipe uses ground organic vanilla pods with a 'sweet touch' to the creamy ice cream. The chocolate variant includes 'crunchy', 'bitter', organic chocolate chips.
Both products contains 30% less sugar than comparable products, Kissyo! said.
The ice cream is manufactured in a 'climate neutral' manner, Kissyp! added.
The product will be distributed nation-wide at supermarkets and organic specialty retailers with a suggested price of €5.99 for 500 ml.
