Exotic ‘fusion’ cooking sauces for stress-free cooking
UK start-up Yugo Spice has launched a range of pastes and sauces: a Miso Chipotle sauce; a Chipotle Garni hot sauce; and a Sun-Dried Tomato paste.
The idea behind the sauces is to bring ‘fresh energy’ into the cooking sauce category, “that’s increasingly looking a little tired and pedestrian”, according to the firm.
Yugo Spice – ‘yugo’ means ‘fusion’ in Japanese – was founded by Cass Business School Master’s graduate Renad Sheraif, who is now in talks with ‘fine food wholesalers’ and some of the ‘more experimental’ supermarkets in the UK.
