Sevan expands recall to falafel
Sweden: Following investigations into taste issues with hummus, Sevan has found the quality of chickpeas to be at fault.
As the chickpeas were also used in falafel with best before date from 1 May until 11 June, 2017 these products have been recalled.
The firm said it is not known what caused the taste issues and products have been sent for analysis but it is attributable to a certain batch of chickpeas. It added there is no reason to believe that the product is dangerous to eat.
