Wrong date marking for cheese
New Zealand: European Foods is recalling Ghiotti brand mozzarella cheeses due to incorrect date marking.
Certain batches and dates of Ghiotti brand Mozzarella Fior di Latte (125g), Mozzarella Fior di Latte (200g), Mozzarella Buffalo (125g and 200g) and Mozzarella Cherry (200g) are involved.
Products are sold in plastic tubs in supermarkets throughout the North Island.
Affected products are imported from Italy but the recall is due to a problem associated with the date mark applied when they were in New Zealand.
