Incorrect packing prompts recall
UK: Sainsbury’s is recalling its Just Cook Chicken Breasts with Piri Piri sauce because some packs have been incorrectly packaged, and contain Chicken and Bacon Lattice.
The 326g product with a use by of 24 January 2016 contains milk and wheat, which is not mentioned on the label, making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and/or an allergy to wheat or intolerance to gluten.
The supermarket said: "It has been brought to our attention that a small number of packs labelled Chicken Breasts with Piri Piri sauce have been incorrectly packaged and contain Chicken and Bacon Lattice, making the product unsuitable for anyone with an allergy to milk, wheat, gluten and pork.
"If you have bought this product please return it to your nearest Sainsbury’s store, where you will receive a full refund."
