Mislabelling with milk allergen
14 July - Belgium: The supermarket Aldi has recalled gaufres sucrées (sweet waffles) in a 7x50g pack.
Milk has been found in the product without being declared on the ingredients list which poses an allergen risk.
The lot number of the Valerie-branded product is 42021 with a date of 11/8/2014.
In agreement with the AFSCA (Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain) Aldi has removed the product from sale.
Waffles in question were not delivered in the provinces of Liège, Luxembourg, Limburg, Flemish Brabant and Brussels-Capital.
