Insect contamination
Hungary: Cereal and bakery products from Thailand have been found to be contaminated with insect remains, according to Hungarian authorities.
NÉBIH said RAITIP brand in 300g packages were shipped to a Hungarian firm.
Job's tear or Chinese pearl barley (Coix lacryma-jobi) was infested with insects (rice flour beetle).
It was also distributed to Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
