Clerici-Sacco expands culture and enzymes facilities

Italian culture and enzyme specialist Clerici-Sacco has expanded its R&D facilities and offices in the Milan area, the company says.
The company acquired culture producer CSL last year and has constructed a new floor measuring 2,400 square metres, including 600 square metres of laboratory space, as well as offices and meeting rooms.
“The new laboratories and offices have already been finished; only minor construction remains. Overall, this offers greatly extended space for the growing number of employees,” said co-owner Francesco Verga in a statement.
Co-owner Martino Verga added: “We needed more space for the growing number of scientists and new technologies, to continue supporting food culture through delivering cultures and enzymes.”
