The Every Company is expanding production further – this time in the US – due to the massive growth of its animal-free egg white product, OvoPro.
The company will begin commercial-scale production of OvoPro at an ADM facility in Clinton, Iowa, the two companies announced July 14.
The news follows a similar announcement in June that The Every Company was quadrupling its manufacturing output of OvoPro through a partnership with Huvepharma, via its subsidiary Biovet AD, at its production facility in Bulgaria.
The 550% production expansion announced last month is the result of The Every Company’s nationwide rollout of its animal-free egg substitute, OvoPro, at Walmart and Target locations.
ADM and The Every Company
The Every Company is leveraging ADM’s large-scale precision fermentation production capacity. It is the first US production site for OvoPro, the two companies said.
The company noted that protein fortification demand is “surging across food segments,” adding that its OvoPro product offers “a clean-label, single-ingredient protein with strong functional performance (binding, gelling, foaming) and supply chain reliability.”
ADM noted in the press release that the production expansion provides “stronger, more resilient supply chains for food producers.”
“Traditional protein sources like eggs will always be a critically important part of diets around the world, but it’s also clear that the only way to meet the growing global demand for protein is to add innovative new ingredient options that can expand the supply of high-quality protein,” said Kris Lutt, ADM’s vice president for innovation and growth.
The partnership strengthens ADM’s global protein supply chain and illustrates the capacity of its precision fermentation operation and ability to complement existing production for customers.

The Every Company describes its flagship product as a “functional powerhouse and protein source” that offers a higher protein content and contributes to structural integrity.
