‘Made in Britain’ cakes, snacks and tea to your doorstep
From cakes and tray bakes, to tasty pork scratching snacks, low calorie, alcoholic sparkling water, and 'afternoon tea for two deliveries' for those who don't have time to make refreshments, the Made in Britain organisation is showcasing those ‘quintessentially British products’ ideal for celebrating the longest standing Monarch in British history.
The line-up includes is the Bakewell Bakery’s original Bakewell Pudding. Made by hand to an original recipe from the 1800s, the traditional Bakewell Pudding comprises a buttery puff pastry case with a layer of indulgent seedless strawberry jam - ideally for impressing guests at your Jubilee street party.
Bakewell Bakery’s also offers an 'Afternoon Tea for Two', which comes delivered to the doorstep: the ideal treat for couples or friends who fancy kicking back and being waited on while enjoying their Jubilee street party celebrations.
The delivery includes one small original Bakewell Pudding to share, two scones (choice of flavours), one small tray bake slice (choice of flavours), one loaf cake (choice of flavours), two mini pots of strawberry jam two mini pots of luxury clotted cream, and two enveloped tea bags (choice of flavours).
Also featured is Yan Tan, the ‘ultimate summer alcoholic refreshment’. This low calorie, gluten-free alcoholic sparkling water with 100% natural British flavours from ‘wonky’ fruit and botanicals is ‘perfect for toasting 70 years of our fabulous Queen!’
Yan Tan is available in two varieties: crisp, off-dry Elderflower Hawthorn, and fruity, rounded Damson Rhubarb. The natural ingredients are carefully sourced from sustainable ‘wonky’ produce, lightly sparkling and infused with spirit made from apples to make the best tasting hard seltzer out there. 4% ABV, gluten free, vegan friendly, zero sugar and only 71kcal per bottle.
Next up is Mr Trotter’s eight pack pork crackling gift selection box of various flavoured pork scratchings, from Jalapeno Chilli Pork and Salt and Vinegar, to English Mustard and Original. Mr Trotter, which “stands for all that’s best in British pork snacks” has also brought out a Sausalami, which is “packed with the finest British pork and just enough of Mr Trotter’s special seasonings. The air-dried snack is “the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine or beer” and available in three flavours - the Original, Jalapeno Chilli, and Cracked Black Pepper.
