New findings on soy and cancer prevention

A substance found in soybeans may reduce the risk of colon cancer, the third most common form of cancer in the world. Soy glucosylceramide has been found to be effective in reducing the formation and growth of tumour cells in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract in mice, according to research published in this month's Journal of Nutrition.
