Tate & Lyle renews sucralose partnership with McNeil Nutritionals
Tate & Lyle PLC has renewed its partnership with McNeil Nutritionals, LLC to develop the global market for sucralose and the Splenda brand.

The two companies have been working together for 30 years, with their current ten-year agreement due to expire at the end of March. Tate & Lyle took over McNeil Nutritionals’ sucralose manufacturing assets and responsibility for global sucralose sales for the food and drink industry in 2004, while McNeil kept ownership of the Splenda brand and the retail and foodservice side of the business.

Chief executive of Tate & Lyle Javed Ahmed said in a statement: “Alongside our global partners, we are committed to growing the global market for Splenda sucralose.”
