FDA and USDA sign MOU to facilitate dairy exports

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enable the agencies to support the export of US milk and milk products worldwide.

Palsgaard invests €100m to double capacity

EU scheme to freeze meat will hit prices

Meat prices will suffer if premium cuts are frozen to manage the collapse of foodservice demand under EU Private Storage Aid proposals, according to the Livestock and Meat Commission for Northern Ireland (LMCNI).

Among the report's many reccomendations is a reduction in the consumption of beef, lamb and dairy by at least 20% per person.

The Committee on Climate Change (CCC) an independent, statutory body in the UK established under the Climate Change Act 2008, is recommending a reduction in dairy intake of 20%.
